Communication is probably one of the weakest areas in our industry. ATP has designed a Sales Coordination Report that is made out on each call that our personel make. A copy of this Sales Coordination Report is mailed to the supplier when the call is made on his behalf. The report details exactly what was done for a customer and what, if any, problems exist.

The purpose for a sales call by any direct ATP salesman is to sell new business. Our focus is not to check catalogs, price sheets, and update inventories. We are interested in selling new business which increases everyone's bottom line.

New business centers around selling a prospect supplier the ATP Level Program or selling a supplier that may stock Level 1 up to Level 2, 3 and 4. We also use dealer work as a tool to convince a supplier that they need the additional products in the ATP Level Program and, finally, our direct salesmen work with the supplier promoting different promotional items to the installer trade.
