RE: New ATP Line Splice Kits
ATP-Inc has introduced (9) new line splice repair kits to provide a low cost, reliable field repair on any air conditioning, transmission, and power steering lines (not for use on fuel or braking lines). Our new line splice kits enable service providers to correct line defects such as pin-hole leaks, damaged line sections and replacements of damaged fittings.
ATP line splice kits unique benefits include a permanent leak seal and does not require removal of the line. No special tools needed for the install. A better seal technology that incorporates a premium OEM approved elastomer (HNBR) sleeve that has over ten times the sealing surface compared to a traditional single point O’ring. Furthermore, it significantly enhances the sealing ability with various line quirks by adjusting to irregular surface finishes (scratches, pits and other imperfections).
Our line splice kits are leak free units up to 2300 psi. The ATP line splice’s nuts and body are manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum. The nuts are anodized to prevent galling and corrosion. The brass anti-vibration tension rings provides controlled compression for optimal sealing for both axial and radial compression along with long term clamping/retention force.
Our new line splice kits install in just 5 minutes. Installation tools consist of a tube cutter and a set of open end wrenches. The line splices are small and compact and enables the splicing of various size lines (5/16", 3/8", 1/2" 5/8" lines) also available in 10 and 12mm sizes. JUST LOOK BELOW!
All of the ATP Line Splice Kits have passed OEM tests for leakage, vibration, thermal cycle and burst strength. Additionally, they have been sold and field utilized for several years.
